The Chaos and drama never ends.....

I can now be a better blogger....

On Monday night, Steve, Stephannie, Daniel, and I went out. First we went to Best Buy, where Steve bought me a new laptop computer. I got the extended protection plan. Two years of internet security plus the oops protection, so if I drop it or anything like that, Geek Squad will fix it. I can now keep up with my blogging regularly. I need to get a new printer though.

Then we went to Olive Garden for dinner. It was the worst service. The waitress just rushed right through our meal. When we went last week, we were there for almost three hours, laughing and talking, the waiter was great. This time we were in and out in 45 minutes!!! Hello and that was with four courses!!!! I complained to the manager, in return I got a $50 gift card!!!! We also found out the name of the waiter that we had the last time we went. We plan to ask to sit in his section next time we go!

Tuesday:

I got up early and went to the laundrymat to wash all the blankets and sheets. I also went over to housing authority because my kitchen faucet has been broken for like the past year or so. It started with the cold water. When it was turned off all the way, it was still running, we had to turn it off and on at the valve under the sink. We complained a year ago to housing about it but they never fixed it. Then this past month, the hot water started with a slow drip, then a small stream, until it too was running full even when off. We tried turning it off at the valve too but that still didn't work. I went to housing before I left for the laundromat, I was gone for like two hours, when I came back, Steve said that they still had not come, so I went and complained again. They were at the house before I was even home. LOL. It took them five minutes to replace the washers and seals. Right after they left another guy showed up to fix it. HA HA HA.

Steve and I went to Bismarck dropped his computer off at C-ram because it was so virused that there was just no fixing it on our own. They had to wipe the system completely to fix the problem. Plus Steve got a new virus program too. I went to the used bookstore and got four hardcover cookbooks for $20!!! I got a leather bound copy of The Joy of Coooking, Crockpot cooking, How to Cook Anything: the Basics, and The Dinner Doctor.

We went to Famous Dave's BBQ with Daniel and Dutchess. Stephannie was all bitchy and had plans. She doesn't even hide her boyfriend anymore even though she keeps denying the guy is her boyfriend. Dutchess said that Stephannie treats Daniel like shit now. That is why all the kids want to go with him and not Stephannie after the divorce. Famous Dave's was fun. We had the meal where they serve it on a trash can lid. Ha Ha Ha.

We went to Barnes and Noble after. Steve found this totally awesome book on autism. I bought to many magazines as always.

Chaos is all around....

It seems just because I want a peaceful life. I am trying to learn to control my anger and other emotions. I keep getting thrown curve balls in my quest for Zen. This week has been non stop chaos.

Monday, I took Kennedy to her regular peditricain because a week ago Monday, she had fallen off the bed. Her and the boys were jumping up and down. She fell off backwards onto her right arm. Wednesday (4/15/09) I took her to Indian Health Services ER at the urging of Kennedy's OT/PT therapist. We waited two and half hours for the doctor to look at her arm for five minutes and tell me there was nothing wrong. Friday she was still crying in pain. I made an appointment for Monday. It turns out Kennedy broke her shoulder. She now has a cast from her shoulder to the tips of her fingers. She goes in a week to have it looked at again.

My sister in law Stephannie and Daniel live in Mandan, we always stop in when we go to Bismarck. My other sister in law Dutchess has been staying with them since she got out of drug rehab. This is Dutchess's fifth or sixth time in treatment but she seems to be embracing it this time. I don't know if it is because it was court ordered to get her children back. We have not really talked to her much in the last seven years because of how bad her addiction was. We ended up taking Dutchess to the mall with us when we went to Kennedy's appointment. It was one of the best days that we have had with her in long time. She proceeded to tell us all the gossip.

Monty was thrown out of the house (Steve's brother). He is living in Sturgis with Steve's ex-wife Marcie. Which we already knew because he told Steve he was going to live there. He asked Steve if he was mad, Steve sad no. He is just mad at Marcie because she is such a bitch and he has not seen his kids in eight years. But that is a whole other issue.

Daniel and Stephannie are divorcing. Which we didn't take serious at first because they are always splitting up or cheating on each other. Stephannie has been running around with some guy for the past year. Daniel has decided to move to NE with the three children to live his life as a woman. We have known that he wanted to be a woman for the past three years but Daniel has never said anything to us about it. We found out on myspace. Steve was angry at first but he said now he feels hurt that Daniel waited so long to tell him because they have been friends for 18 years. Stephannie has basically told Daniel he is a freak and degraded him for his lifestyle and the way he is. I feel that they are both at fault. I am not taking sides. They are both my friends/family. I love them both.

Tuesday I took Joe to the ENT doctor. He has to have his tonsils out and also have something done to his nose to help with his asthma and allergies. He is having surgery May 19th. He will miss the rest of the school year while he recovers.

Wednesday night Steve and I took Dutchess and Stephannie to The Olive Garden. We were there for almost three hours. We all talked and laughed. Steve said it felt like a normal family which they have never been. We celebrated Steve's 38th birthday, Dutchess's sobriety, and Stephannie's divorce.

After he recovers I am going to plan my surgery. I must admit that I cheated last night and had a coke slushie. I have been doing good though with everything else.

Being a better blogger....

I have a live journal but I don't keep up with it. I don't really like live journal. I mostly have it because that is where a few of my friends are and I want to keep up with them there. I started this blog. I had promised myself that I would be a better blogger but so far I have only posted one blog. I have a hard time keeping up with this blog because my computer crapped out. I have to use Steve or Martin's computers. Since my router died, Martin doesn't have internet in his room, I have to use Steve's computer. Which is impossible most of the time. Steve is playing WOW (World of Warcraft). When Steve isn't playing WOW, Martin is. I am getting a lap top when we get our tax return and a new router. Hopefully I can be a blog addict.

We had another blizzard on Monday/Tuesday. School was cancelled for two days and then they had a delayed opening on Wednesday. Of course, I was supposed to take Joe to the ENT doctor (ears, nose, and throat). It took two months to get that appointment. So I had to reschedule that. Thankfully, I got another appointment in two weeks. It just keeps happening. I am supposed to take the kids to a doctors appointment in Bismarck and we have a blizzard!!!! Mostly with the dentist. I have had to reschedule the dentist three times!!!!

Things I have been doing lately....Working on re-Tiling the kitchen floor...Here are Kennedy and Christopher-Robin posing on the new floor. I should have taken a photo of it before. It was horrible. Housing Authority bitched about all the broken and lose tiles but yet would not fix it. Sick of having an ugly floor. I am fixing it myself. I had these tiles in the basement because I was fixing the living room floor for the same reasons. I am working my way through the kitchen into the living room. Alco, the store I got the tiles at, always has a ton of these tiles. I bought about ten boxes. Watch when I run out they won't have it anymore. That is my luck!!!! Some of the tiles are so hard to get up but I figured out using my blow dryer helps to loosen the glue. But my dryer has a shut down thingy where it turns off when it gets to hot. After three tiles it turns itself off! This is going to take forever....
